Castle Kilbride National Historic Site is located in the beautiful town of Baden, Ontario. This beautiful home was built in 1877 by flax manufacturer James Livingston and was home to the Livingston family for three generations. Castle Kilbride's interior is magnificently painted in the trompe l'oeil style. These paintings were designated as nationally significant in 1994 when the home became a museum. We welcome you to step back into the lavish Victorian era and enjoy the house that flax built.
