Beta Gamma Foundation, Inc., as set forth in its Articles of Incorporation, “. . . is organized to operate exclusively as a non-profit charitable, humanitarian, benevolent, educational, scientific organization.” Its purposes include the award of scholarships and financial assistance for school attendance to graduating high school students and currently enrolled undergraduate college/university students, granted annually; the grant of assistance to service agencies for the betterment of the community; the award of grants to address or otherwise attend to emerging and/or worsening community conditions, concerns and problems; and the offer of needed support services and mentoring opportunities to troubled, minority, low income, and otherwise students and at-risk youth. The membership and leadership of the elected Board of Directors of Beta Gamma Foundation, Inc. are members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
