Delta Beta Tau is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization founded on the Buddhist principles of generosity, morality, patience, diligence, meditation and wisdom.We focus on creating spaces where college students and young adults from all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions and abilities come together while cultivating compassion, generosity, and wisdom through meditation, community service and friendship.Those who attend are not necessarily Buddhist and it is not our intention for them to become Buddhist. It is our deepest wish to share the practice of loving-kindness, helping others live a more peaceful life.We began in 2015 at San Diego State University as a student organization and the only Co-Ed Buddhist Fraternity in the country. In 2025, we expanded to include a young adult program so we may continue to gather for meditation and discussion post college life.
