Leia Perez, founder of Wedding Wish by Candyland Designs, is celebrated for her couture cake designs and has achieved widespread recognition for her exceptional craftsmanship. Additionally, she is a recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including an NAACP Award, honoring her dedication to philanthropy and community impact. Her bakery, Candyland Designs, is recognized as a premier wedding cake bakery in the Central Florida area, boasting an industry-leading Google review rating.Leia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Accounting from Case Western Reserve University. Her financial expertise continues to play a vital role in her community service as she serves as the Treasurer on the Executive Board of several nonprofit organizations, but her passion for the culinary arts led her to become a couture cake designer in 2017. Her journey has been marked by a steadfast commitment to giving back, partnering with Make-A-Wish bakers through Icing Smiles, donating goods and services to Main Street Kissimmee and Team Kareem Memorial Foundation, and consistently contributing a portion of her profits to the No Kid Hungry foundation.Her dedication to philanthropy goes far beyond financial contributions—it’s about creating joy and lasting memories. As the founder of Wedding Wish by Candyland Designs (established in 2020), Leia has dedicated her efforts to granting dream weddings and offering mental health support to couples facing life-altering challenges. Her mission is to provide these couples with a day of respite and cherished memories, filled with kindness, beauty, shared cake, smiles, laughter, and love.
