Live Arts Maryland, a nonprofit arts organization whose mission is community enhancement through performing and presenting high-quality music, has been sharing melody and song for over 50 years. Founded in Annapolis, MD, in 1974 as The Annapolis Chorale, it has evolved from modest beginnings to a multi-faceted performance organization.Under the artistic leadership of J. Ernest Green since 1985, Live Arts Maryland has grown into one of the region’s largest, most innovative, and active arts organizations.
