Cheryl is a seasoned yoga educator with over 1,000 hours of certifications including Yin Yoga, Somatic Movement, Yoga Therapy, and chronic pain support. A proud member of both the Canadian Yoga Alliance and Yoga Alliance US, she brings a wealth of knowledge and warmth to every class she leads. For the past ten years, Cheryl has guided individuals on a deeply personal journey of rediscovering how their bodies move. Her practice centers on functional movement, breathwork, and nervous system regulation—especially for those living with chronic pain or navigating PTSD. She specializes in creating spaces where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to move at their own pace. Cheryl’s reach extends across Canada—from teaching at Collective Soul Space and YK Racquet Club in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, to Alchemy Yoga in Cochrane, Alberta, and her current role at the SLS Centre in Cochrane. She offers both private and group sessions, adapting her approach to suit the unique needs of each client with compassion and insight. Her philosophy: movement should be an invitation, not an instruction.
