Kate has been practicing and teaching for over 25 years in the field of psychology and has worked with hundreds of clients seeking psychologically focused psychotherapy.She has also worked with hundreds of professionals by providing individually tailored external professional supervision for psychologists, social workers, mental health clinicians, counsellors, youth workers, school wellbeing staff, teachers, nurses, managers and CEOs. She also provides and values team and group supervision processes.Kate is dedicated to collaborating with organisations to help develop and facilitate trainings and workshops designed to strengthen and enhance professional’s direct service and clinical practice. She has worked for government and non-government agencies, allied health, community and human services, and education sectors, to support staff and organisations engage effectively with their client groups.Kate has been studying and practicing meditation and mindfulness-based interventions over 35 years. She has been training and teaching in these disciplines for over 25 years both across Australia, and internationally in Asia, such as India and Hong Kong, as well as in Europe, including Spain and Italy.Kate has completed a pathway of training to full accreditation through the Mindfulness Training Institute of Australasia (MTIA) and for the past seven years has been teaching the world renowned 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program, and the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression Program, as well as offering Introductory Programs and facilitating a range of Mindfulness Based group interventions.
