Try established his connection to physical and mental exercises from a young age through his relationship and upbringing from his grandfather – a Ju Jitsu sensei. Try has been practicing yoga and pilates for more than a decade, a passion he discovered in 2004 while attending the University of Toronto. In 2010, Try was introduced to the Modo Yoga community and shortly after began his journey into becoming a certified instructor. Living with entrepreneurs along with an extensive background in both film, public relations & marketing agency environments, Modo Yoga remains both a consistent and positive force in Try’s life – offering a space to connect with the body, breath, and supportive community while also providing the essential tools to handle life’s burdens and challenges when they arise. Try’s goal is to offer students a safe space to explore their practice, with the intention of inviting a deeper awareness of expression in each posture while also encouraging students to discover their own mindful practice – inviting a conscious connection to their true authentic self, both on-and-off the mat. “Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.” – Gail Devers
