We're Happy Cubs. A small independent Irish family business run by us - Jane & Brian. We have two young children, Matilda and Archie, who inspire us to make Happy Cubs a magical place for bear cub's to learn.Happy Cubs is the home of Swim Cubs & Music Cubs classes. Our mission at Happy Cubs is to help you to teach your child life skills in a fun and gentle way. Our classes are a child-led, positive, fun experience to help inspire a lifelong love of swimming & music.Jane began Happy Cubs in 2017. She grew up with a love of the water. Whether it was weekly swimming classes or jumping into the 40 foot to clear her head on a Sunday morning, it's a place she was happy. So naturally she passed this love onto her own children.In 2017, she decided to channel this love into setting up Swim Cubs. Jane is our swimming bear, having worked as a baby and toddler swim teacher for 10 years. She infused her love of swimming, a gentle teaching approach, and working with young children, to create our unique Swim Cubs lessons. Brian is our music bear, a talented musician who can play just about any instrument. Anyone who knows Brian knows that music is part of him. He can pick up any instrument and not just play it, but entertain a room of people with it. So together, we make a pretty great team.In 2019, Jane & Brian developed our Music Cubs classes. Through Swim Cubs we met so many lovely families who were also looking for a “dry land” activity for their bear cubs. Enter Music Cubs – music classes for babies, toddlers & big cubs. Looking at our own bear cubs, we know that children are born with a natural love of music. We wanted a place where families could enjoy and grow a love of music together.We continue to grow Happy Cubs with a brilliant team working across our Swim Cubs and Music Cubs classes.
