Franklin Arts Centre provides a space for the local Pukekohe community to experience the visual arts.The centre hosts two gallery spaces for exhibitions, a retail shop featuring local arts and crafts, and a workshop venue.The New Zealand Steel Gallery is the main exhibition space and shows the work of national, international and local artists.Exhibitions in the gallery are typically scheduled for six weeks. A feature of the exhibition schedule is ongoing free (or affordable) programme events related to each exhibition.Franklin Arts Centre is an Auckland Council arts facility, supported by the Franklin Local Board.
