FoundingFounded in 2021 in Podgorica (Montenegro), the Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles (PASTECHL) is a sports, exercise and health scientific society dedicated to the collection, generation and dissemination of scientific knowledge at the Montenegrin level and beyond.Objective & PurposeThe Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles (PASTECHL) is the leading not-for-profit organization in the area of sport and health in Montenegro who gathered with the aim of promoting, encouraging and stimulating work in the field of technological innovations in sports, physical activity and health, as well as improving innovative knowledge in the process of providing services, creating products that help people improve healthy lifestyles in the widest possible interpretation.FunctionThe PASTECHL is a non-profit organization. It supports Montenegrin institutions, such as the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Ministry of Science and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, by offering scientific advice and assistance for carrying out coordinated national and European research projects defined by these bodies. In addition, the PASTECHL serves as the most important Montenegrin and regional network of sports scientists from all relevant subdisciplines.Mission StatementThe purpose of the Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles (PASTECHL) is the promotion of sports, exercise and health science in an international, multi-cultural, multidisciplinary, as well as an interdisciplinary context.
