The Reno Generator, your community makerspaceThe Generator is an inclusive makerspace that’s driven by the power of art & community. We’re here for anyone & everyone who wants to make things. We are home to a wide array of artists, builders, and inventors working in many disciplines. We have a variety of common shops, workshops, K - 12 programs & community events for our members and their families to engage in. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, The Generator strives to provide access to the arts for all those in Northern Nevada.Our mission is to continually build a creative community by offering a safe and supportive space where people can share knowledge, explore interests and follow their curiosity. We are an open and accepting environment where all are welcome regardless of background, skills, education or experience. We believe that the personal growth of the individual leads to the evolution of both the community as a whole and the work it produces.All workshop ticket sales are non-refundable. Workshops are taught by community members who chose to share their skills with the community as a way to spread the arts through Northern Nevada. Workshop proceeds are split between these hard working artists and The Generator non-profit.
