About the Irish Indie Film Foundation & Nova ProductionThe Irish Indie Film Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Ireland that supports independent filmmaking and cultural exchange. It operates under the umbrella of Nova Productions, a film and events company dedicated to amplifying voices in social justice, diversity, and human rights. Nova produces impactful cultural events and festivals, including IBERSCREEN—the Ibero-American Film Festival in Ireland and the official Irish Film Festival in Spain.As a company rooted in community values, Nova is proud to support Paweł, a close friend of the family. We are honoured to stand beside his sister, Marika, and contribute to her incredible efforts to help him reclaim his life after a devastating stroke.As part of our Eventbrite we also supported the screenings of Breaking Barriers, a powerful community-led documentary created by Youth Access Group Galway via Youth Work Ireland Galway, with the funds from the Irish Human Rights Commission and supported by Nova Production. The film highlights the lived experiences of people with disabilities in Galway, challenging societal attitudes and advocating for equal access, inclusion, and human rights. Honest, moving, and deeply impactful, Breaking Barriers amplifies voices too often unheard.
