Wir sind dein Einstieg zu einem der dynamischsten Games-Hotspots in Europa.Das Ziel von Gamecity Hamburg ist es, die Rahmenbedingungen für Unternehmen und Gründer*innen der Games-Wertschöpfungskette in der Stadt zu verbessern, sie bei ihrer Weiterentwicklung zu unterstützen und Hamburg in der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung als eine der führenden Games-Metropolen in Europa zu verankern. Wir sind Ansprechpartner für die Hamburger Spieleförderung sowie den Games Lift Inkubator und bieten darüber hinaus in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Spieleindustrie Programme, Veranstaltungen und Angebote zur Stärkung lokaler Entwickler an. Gleichzeitig fördern wir den Wissensaustausch innerhalb der Branche und mit anderen Industrien. Die Förderung junger Talente, die Entwicklung neuer Formate, die das starke Netzwerk der Spielefirmen in der Stadt anregen, sowie die Internationalisierung stehen im Mittelpunkt unserer Arbeit.Zu unseren regelmäßigen Veranstaltungen gehören der Gamecity Treff, Game Starter, Gamecity Impulse, Gamecity XP Boost, Games Compass und viele weitere Events, zugeschnitten auf die Games-Branche in Hamburg.Der Gamecity Treff startete bereits im Jahr 2003 als Networking-Event um Hamburgs Spieleindustrie zusammenzubringen - und ist mit bis zu 200 Teilnehmenden pro Veranstaltung noch immer ein Anlaufpunkt. Die informelle Veranstaltung ist darauf ausgerichtet, Verknüpfung und Austausch unter den Beteiligten innerhalb der Branche zu fördern und aufrechtzuerhalten.Für Studierende und Berufseinsteiger*innen ist der Austausch mit Games-Branchen-Expert*innen unverzichtbar, um die Anforderungen in den einzelnen Disziplinen zu kennen und sich auf sie vorzubereiten. We are your guide to one of the most vibrant games hubs in Europe.Gamecity Hamburg’s aim is to improve the general conditions for companies and founders of the games value chain in the city, to support them in their further development and to anchor Hamburg in the public perception as one of the leading games hubs in Europe. We are the contact point for Hamburg's games funding as well as the Games Lift Incubator and also offer programs, events, and services in close cooperation with the games industry to strengthen local developers. At the same time, we promote the exchange of knowledge within the sector and with other industries. The promotion of young talent, the development of new formats that activate the strong network of games companies in the city, and internationalization are the focus of our activities.Gamecity Hamburg offers regularly recurring events such as Gamecity Treff, Game Starter, Gamecity Impulse, Gamecity XP Boost, Games Compass and many other events tailored to the games industry in Hamburg.For example, the Gamecity Treff started in 2003 (!) as a networking event to bring together Hamburg’s games industry and is still going strong with up to 200 participants per event. These informal events aim to promote the networking and exchange of information within the industry.For students and career starters, the exchange with experts in the games industry is essential in order to know the requirements in the individual disciplines and to prepare for them.
