Who’s Behind Scandals?We’re four longtime locals who found home at Scandals as queer and questioning teenagers. Now we’re bringing it back—with more glitter, more grit, and way better sound.Between us, we’ve got a psych nurse, a first-gen immigrant, a 7th-gen rural WNC native, nonprofit leaders, nightlife pros, performers, and organizers. We’re Black, Latine, and white. We’re queer and not. We’re cis and not. And yes—we all love our furry babies.We go by House Gen X, and we’re not here to recreate the past. We’re reclaiming the name and building something bolder, freer, and more joyful—for all of us.
