​My name is Ana Balzán.​I was born and raised in Venezuela. I am an acrylic painter and figurative sculptor based in Longmont, Colorado. I find inspiration in the diverse landscapes, wildlife, and the numerous bird species that inhabit or migrate through the state. Recently, I have ventured into the world of portrait painting.My sculptures are meticulously handcrafted using clay slabs. I shape and refine them through molding, pushing, and adding clay to achieve my desired results. As a sculptor, I delve into the narratives of my most personal experiences as a woman, mother, caregiver, and artist.
