This isn’t about perfectly straight lines or following strict rules; it’s about letting your inner artist shine, however that may look. Remember, art is about expression, not perfection. We’ll learn that art doesn’t have a strict definition; it’s a personal journey, a way to connect with our feelings and the world around us.In our art class, we’re not just going to draw or paint; but with a strong emphasis on experimentation, we’re going to explore the same exciting topics, but with a twist – we will be experiment with all sorts of amazing materials and techniques! We’ll dive into the fascinating world of colours and textures creating multiple versions of our favourite designs and discover how each medium brings its own unique magic to our artwork. Let’s make art that is uniquely ours, in a space that’s uniquely relaxing and inspiring!But art isn’t just about making beautiful things—it’s also about feeling good! To start each class, we’ll take a few moments to relax and centre ourselves and to let our worries melt away with some simple mindful breathing exercises or even dancing to a song. We’ll breathe in positivity, release any stress, and prepare our minds and hearts for a creative journey. This is our time to leave the outside pressures behind and simply be present in the moment. During our time together, we’ll take moments to appreciate each other’s unique creations, learn from each other’s techniques, and offer words of encouragement. Remember, there’s no right or wrong way to express yourself; your art is a reflection of your individuality, and it deserves to be celebrated.So, let’s breathe deeply and embrace this relaxed, judgment-free zone, and embark on a journey of artistic experimentation and self-discovery.
