CONTINUA is an art music collective, founded by renowned English violinist/violist Daniel James Hudson (from London) and compatriot contemporary avant-garde composer Marcus Tristan (from Birmingham). It is a flexible ensemble, made up of the musicians needed for any specific project – so CONTINUA can constitute anything and everything from a single solo performer to a full scale symphony orchestra with chorus. We specialise in performing cutting edge contemporary music, whilst also contrasting this to enlightening effect with art music from all periods of musical history.
