Kimberly English Cole is a natural ideator, connector, and convener. She studied Advertising and Graphic Design at Columbus College of Art & Design and later graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Public Management, Leadership and Policy, specializing in Nonprofit Management.Before joining Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), Kimberly enjoyed an 8 ½ year trajectory with Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML), serving in four Columbus branches.Kimberly’s previous roles include Neighborhood Leadership Academy Alumni Association Coordinator for United Way of Central Ohio, Grant Manager for Greater Columbus Arts Council, and Community Partnership Specialist for BalletMet. With over a decade of experience across philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, and community investment, Kimberly brings a rare combination of practical funding expertise and community organizing insight to every space she enters. She has evaluated grant proposals, managed over $1M in funding portfolios, coordinated sponsorship strategies, and advised organizations on how to build funder relationships rooted in clarity, trust, and vision.Kimberly led as the Vice President of Central Community House/Transit Arts Board of Trustees for two years and currently sits on the Community Advisory Boards for the Eldon & Elsie Ward Family YMCA and COSI.Kimberly is a professional artist, musician, and thespian with various accolades in a variety of performance genres.
