I am a dedicated community educator, advocate, and thought leader committed to improving the wellness of marginalized individuals, particularly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) who identify as LGBTQ+. For over 20 years, I have worked to restructure traditional systems by fostering open and honest conversations about sex, sexual behavior, and human sexuality. Through my work, I challenge exclusionary frameworks and strive to dismantle the stigma that prevents individuals from fully embracing their identities. As the author of Faithful and Forgotten: Navigating Race, Sexuality, and Belonging in the Black Church, I explore the deep and often painful intersections of race, faith, and sexuality within Black religious spaces. The book shines a light on the lived experiences of Black Christian gay and bisexual men who remain tethered to faith communities that have historically rejected them. Through compelling narratives and critical analysis, Faithful and Forgotten calls for a more inclusive, affirming, and just approach to spirituality—one that honors the wholeness of every individual.Recognizing the glaring gaps in how sexual health and LGBTQ+ inclusion are addressed in communities of color, I work to confront the silence, misinformation, and intergenerational shame that continue to cause harm. By challenging the misuses of religious teachings and oppressive ideologies, I aim to empower individuals to seek healing, understanding, and liberation. My approach is rooted in joy, connection, and transformation, allowing me to engage globally with like-minded individuals who are equally committed to creating inclusive spaces for growth and change. My mission is simple yet profound: to create spaces where marginalized voices are uplifted, where healing is possible, and where all people can thrive without fear of exclusion. I remain committed to inspiring, educating, and transforming communities in need of radical, lasting change.
