ZenCan 2025 Workshop FacilitatorsJenn FranceJenn discovered the Zentangle method in January 2020 when she was given a book about Zentangle and fell in love with the ease of being creative. Later that November, she was part of the first virtual Zentangle global class and became a CZT36. Now, she watches Zentangle videos, takes online classes, teaches when she can and just enjoys picking up a pen and tile and playing. A retired professor with no formal art training, you can find Jenn relaxing in her studio outside of Perth Ontario, where she is surrounded by her 50 acres forest and supervised by 2 curious black cats.Margret PageIsland Tangler CZT42 from Howe Island. My experiences with drawing and various painting mediums have provided me with a creative outlet, also served as a valuable life skill in my teens. I enjoy drawing in pen/pencil which allows for incredible detail and expression, while working with watercolor that does bring unique qualities to compositions. This prompted me to pursue this method of Art. I became a Registered Zentangle teacher (CZT42) late last year, a newbie on the block. This art provides a unique space to unwind and reflect, allowing myself and others to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s amazing how creativity can be a source of inspiration and relaxation at the same time.Kim MastromartinoKim has been an artist ever since discovering the joy of painting pinecones and rocks at age 4. After completing her Masters in Education, Melissa taught children and their families with and without hearing loss for over 30 years. In 2013, Melissa was introduced to the Zentangle method and happily took to this small, portable and non-representational art form. After exploring it for 2 years, she jumped at the chance to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT21).
