Alison Childs

About

​Alison has been teaching and practicing Usui Reiki for 20 years in a variety of different settings. She has taught many classes of all levels of Usui Reiki, founded a Reiki program at Franklin Medical Center, and has volunteered Reiki in cancer centers to patients and their families. In 2024, she became certified in Karuna Reiki, as well as Holy Fire III. Also a Registered Nurse, Alison has offered Reiki for countless patients in both Hospice and Palliative care. She offers private sessions in her home, as well as out in nature.Alison has spent a lifetime in pursuit of spiritual answers. She has studied many different healing modalities, including hands-on healing, Triple Vagal Method® TVM™, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, various energy practices, women's circles, and community ceremonies. Alison has used Reiki to support others at all phases of life, from birth to death, during times of grief or anxiety, and also during times of celebration.
