We are the Palo Alto chapter of the Association of Women in Science (AWIS). We are a completely voluntary organization, and depend on individuals that donate their time and are committed to moving the needle on equality for women in STEM!We are part of the global AWIS network (https://www.awis.org/) that inspires bold leadership, research, and solutions that advance women in STEM, spark innovation, promote organizational success and drive systemic change.Our chapter, holds events and cultivates a local community in the Palo Alto area.Our mission is to empower women in STEM by providing them with the tools and the support to thrive in their careers and in their personal life, to promote STEM education and mentoring, and to collaborate with the local community through STEM outreach programs.We are also part of the Northern California Chapters collaboration (AWIS NCC) and collaborate with women in STEM from the entire Bay and San Francisco Area!Is your company interested in sponsoring or collaborating with us?
