Purpose: BreatheDeep, Inc., is a research-based 501c3 organization that provides restorative wellness information and resources to help marginalized communities create strategies of self-care, to increase overall wellness and to reduce or mitigate the impact of systemic and historical oppression, chronic stress and generational, personal and vicarious trauma.Vision: BreatheDeep’s vision is to establish partnerships and build a network of community stakeholders, pillars and gatekeepers, to provide workshops, webinars, trainings and consultation through research and holistic based programming in the areas of mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, social and financial health to marginalized and underserved populations.Mission: The overarching goal is to provide support, encouragement, empowerment and sustainability through increased education, awareness, and positive behavioral and self-care practices, while embedding relevant cultural strategies into the lives of men, women and youth.
