The Canadian Association of Cardio-Pulmonary Technologists (CACPT) membership is composed of technologists employed in the Heart Catheterization Laboratories and/or Pulmonary Function Laboratories. The Registered Technologist works closely with the health care team in order to provide information relevant to the patient´s diagnosis, treatment, and management of their lung or cardiovascular disease.  The CACPT hosts a symposium annually that focuses on current practice standards for for Pulmonary Function Testing and other related topics. This symposium is open to anyone with an interest in this field.
