Marily Topouzoglou is a psychologist and expressive arts therapist who values creativity, improvisation, and play—elements at the heart of both her therapeutic practice and her brand, Clayground.Her work explores issues from her therapeutic journey and tries to provoke thoughts on social etiquette and social phenomena. Her interdisciplinary background spans B.A. creative industries, psychology, expressive arts therapy, and an ongoing specialization in clay field therapy, deepening her connection to clay as a medium for self-exploration and healing. Clayground has participated in group exhibitions in both Venice and Athens. Her ceramics are available at Medley and Artworld. Her pieces are also featured in the cooking segment of the Studio4 TV show on ERT. Marily draws inspiration from artists like Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Katherine Bernhardt, and Marilia Kolibiri, whose playful, bold, and unconventional styles align with her own artistic spirit. Through Clayground, Marily fosters a sense of creative freedom, encouraging others to embrace playfulness and reject the fear of making mistakes. She sees imperfection not as failure but as a vital part of the creative process. Clayground is an invitation to rediscover joy, let go of self-judgment, and create with openness and curiosity.
