We are a charity and a membership organisation with a big mission to inspire people about Epping Forest, and to conserve and protect its irreplaceable biodiversity, culture and heritage now and for generations to come. We operate across the whole of Epping Forest, covering 6,000 acres stretching from Manor Park in East London to Epping in Essex.Although Epping Forest is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) it still faces considerable threats from the impact of climate change and pollution on its biodiversity, to increased visitor numbers due to the pandemic, and encroaching development in neighbouring boroughs.Our work:Educate and inspire people about Epping ForestDo hands-on work to conserve and grow the ForestProtect Epping Forest through research and advocacyWe also operate Epping Forest Visitor Centre at High Beach on behalf of theCity of London Corporation.How you can helpBecome a member:click here to join our MembershipVolunteer with us:click here to find out moreDonate: no matter big or small, every donation makes a difference:click here to donate online
