The Goldfields Aboriginal Language Centre’s (GALCAC) role is to work alongside speakers to record, linguistically analyses and database the Aboriginal languages of the Goldfields, WA, region in order to create preservation and use documents such as lexical databases, dictionaries and grammars.GALCAC is the peak body language centre for the Goldields region of Western Australia. GALCAC is an Aboriginal non-government organisation with DGR and charity status.
