My name is Wagens, founder and owner of Happi.Hearts LLC. With six years of experience in early childhood development, including three years at a play center and three years at a daycare, I have established myself as a dedicated professional in this field. As the lead teacher of two toddler classes, specifically the 2- and 3-year-olds' classroom, I developed a passion for designing innovative sensory play activities that captivated my young students. My colleagues affectionately refer to me as Mr. Sensory, a testament to my teaching methodology, which focuses on harnessing the power of sensory experiences to educate and inspire young minds. I am now eager to leverage my expertise to launch my own venture, bringing sensory play experiences to my community in Union.What is Sensory Play?Sensory play is a type of activity that engages and stimulates a child’s senses, including sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell, as well as their proprioception (body awareness) and vestibular (balance and movement) systems. This type of play is essential for child development, as it promotes cognitive growth, motor skills, social interactions, and emotional regulation. Sensory play is suitable for children of all ages, but it is particularly crucial during early childhood.
