The Hunter Nurse Education Group - Breast Cancer Care.The Hunter Nurse Education Group is wholly sponsored by the amazing fundraising efforts of the team from PKF Chartered Accountants. PKF host an annual fundraising breakfast donating all proceeds to the ongoing education of Hunter Nurses.With the money raised the group organise several education events per year in Newcastle for nurses in the Hunter Region working with breast cancer patients. Continuing Professional Development hours are available for these events. Also the group have been able to provide sponsorship to assist nurses to attend the Annual National Breast Care Nurse conference and other specific conferences.The group also offers Tertiary Educational Scholarships for Hunter nurses to complete Breast Care Nurse courses.
