The objective of the IEEE Canada Entrepreneurship is to establish a viable and sustainable support program in Canada to cultivate the entrepreneurship culture and to encourage and enable researchers and graduate students to spin off startup companies to commercialize their inventions.IEEE Canada is a member based, not-for-profit organization. It is the largest and most influential technical professional association in Canada with over 17,000 members across the country. Many of our members are technology leaders, business leaders and active practitioners in the advanced technology sector. Some of our members are business executives, key engineers or chief technology officers in major Canadian tech companies; others are lead researchers with academic institutions or governmental policy boards in Canada. IEEE’s motto is “advancing technology for the benefit of humanity”. IEEE Canada’s mandate is to serve the general public as well as the professional community.
