IFIOC got it's start when Casey Jackson wanted to create a company that could train the evidence based skill set of Motivational Interviewing to everyday people and organizations. Since we've been around over a decade, we've seen how Motivational Interviewing not only transforms organizations, but the individuals within them. From Leadership to front line workers, those that learn the skill set of Motivational Interviewing, tend to walk away feeling confident they now have the tools to help navigate both challenging and everyday conversations.Casey Jackson and John Gilbert are both members of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) and together with Ali Hall and Susan Butterworth created a new coding tool called the MICA (Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment).IFIOC trains Motivational Interviewing beyond the acronyms. We teach this skillset in an innovative way to ensure our participants walk away from our training with tangible skills to use immediately.
