Counseling Amsterdam is an innovative therapy and coaching practice focused on helping individuals and companies connect better with themselves and others through communication and respect.They created an innovative approach to therapy by combining well-established and tested therapy techniques and bodywork. The innovation is in the way the two parts - brain and body work - are connected, working in a dynamic and integrated way. Even if other therapy practices combine the 2 aspects - brain and body - CA is the only one working in an integrated way and not multidisciplinary.In their events the focus will be on learning and doing in small groups so individual guidance and tweaking is secured.The 2 founders bring together their own unique experiences and knowledge to create a new approach to therapy and help their clients by combining somatic work with mental work. The end result is offering the clients better tools to cope and solve their issues.Our bodies store a lot of mental trauma, and by working on both the body and mind, we can better self-regulate, manage energy and increase our mental health and prevent challenging situations to take toll.
