Hello there! I’m the owner and instructor at Barker Pilates, LLC., and have successfully completed a 500-hour comprehensive contemporary Pilates program as well as a Master’s-level classical Pilates program. I hold the following certifications: Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Stretching and Flexibility Coach, NASM Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Barre Above Pilates Emphasis Certification, and am in the process of completing the NASM Corrective Exercise program as well as the Pilates Method Alliance mat certification. I used to be a high-school English teacher and have a masters in Composition and Rhetoric as well - I love to learn! I have a passion for getting kids excited about taking care of themselves physically and mentally and for helping moms get back to feeling more normal after the challenges of birth and motherhood.
