Founded in 2019 by Madeleine, Margaux began as a spur-of-the-moment gamble after she left London, put an offer on a house in Margate, and discovered the shop was available for rent. With a background in fashion buying, Madeleine previously created the beloved vintage kids' brand Lapin & Me, which sold to stores worldwide and had a shop at the renowned Columbia Road Market. Madeleine is dedicated to curating a collection of looks and brands that complement each other, focusing on affordable and consciously made pieces.
