Matthew "Phew" Foster is the chef and owner of Phew's Pies. A proud Atlanta native and passionate pizza enthusiast, Phew began his pizza-making journey during the 2020 pandemic and refined his skills in pizza craftsmanship while the world was on pause. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant flavors and rich culture of his hometown, Phew designed a unique Atlanta-style menu for Phew's Pies. His inventive creations have since earned awards in prestigious pizza competitions, most notably Good Morning America's National Pizza Showdown, and received high praise from both local and national media outlets, from Atlanta Magazine to the New York Times. With a fresh concept, a popular menu, and an ambitious yet realistic plan, Phew is well-prepared to turn Phew's Pies into a pizza staple of Atlanta.
