Sparked by the Hebrew word "Selah," meaning to pause, ponder, and reflect, The gallery was founded by Abby D’Alessio, and bursts with the creative magic of the D’Alessio family—Abby, her husband Josh, and her father-in-law the renowned Russell D’Alessio. Abby’s art dances with bold, colorful strokes, weaving emotional portraits and symbolic figures that tug at the heart and spirit. Josh brings nature and photographic portraits to life with playful, textured forms and vibrant contrasts, crafting serene scenes that whisper wonder and invite. Russell sprinkles his whimsical, expressionist magic into figurative works of women and wildlife, capturing the human spirit with a childlike joy and timeless allegories.
