Shumei is a spiritual organization dedicated to advancing health, happiness, and harmony for all humankind through applying the insights of our founder, Mokichi Okada. Known within Shumei as ‘Meishusama’, Mokichi Okada taught that a world free of sickness, poverty, and strife could be achieved through Jyorei, spiritual healing, Natural Agriculture and an appreciation of art and beauty.There is no conflict between Shumei and any religion or spiritual path that seeks universal well-being. Shumei welcomes all. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, and many maintain and deepen their own beliefs while participating with us. Further, we are committed to dialogues with people of all faiths to promote tolerance and peace.
