As a single person myself, I decided online dating wasn’t working for me. So, I set about trying to find somewhere I could meet other single people who felt the same way. I hoped I was not the only one finding the virtual dating world to be a disappointing, soul destroying repetitive waste of my time and energy.I could not find anywhere outside of a major city hosting in person dating events, so I decided to create my own…for all the other people in Shropshire who feel the same way.This has been five years in the making. Five years of waiting for someone else to put on these events near me. So here I am now, doing this! I know there is a gap in the dating market in our somewhat disposable, fast paced, digital world. Maybe we need to take a step back (or forwards) to real life conversations and meeting people in the flesh to find out more about them.
