​The US has the highest maternal and infant death rate in the developed world, and it's on the rise. We know that doulas at childbirth reduce unnecessary deaths. Our mission is to put life-saving solutions in place.Our focus as an organization is on improving birth outcomes for all pregnant people, especially those experiencing social or economic hardship. We offer support, education, and guidance through pregnancy, birth, and into the postpartum period.Our two basic missions:​Help FamiliesWe strive to improve overall birth outcomes by providing evidence-based education, continuous professional labor support, and community connections to growing families.Train Doulas to Help FamiliesWe are dedicated to growing the doula community by providing new doulas with education, doula mentorship, and connections to expectant families.
