About

The Eating Disorder Foundation is a Denver-based, charitable non-profit organization. EDF wants to influence and promote public awareness and concern for the detection, prevention, treatment and elimination of eating disorders. They want to creatively develop campaigns that remove the social stigma, silence and shame upon which this illness thrives. Because eating disorders are the number one killer of all mental illnesses, they make eating disorders a public health priority. EDF wants to change social attitudes, encourage people to get help, and promote healthy body image in addition to mobilizing support.The mission of The Foundation is to be an effective resource to the general public and the health care community in the collective effort to prevent and eliminate eating disorders.
