Wendy Zerin MDhas been a lifelong explorer of the mind-body connection, approaching this connection from different perspectives at different stages along the way. As a child, it was a love of dance which took her into a joyful, embodied relationship with herself. In college it was through the lens of psychology that she sought to find the mind-body connection. In her work with her young patients as a pediatrician, the body continually revealed itself to be inextricably linked to the mind. Seeking balance to meet the challenges of her own life, Wendy began practicing meditation and yoga over 35 years ago, ultimately being authorized by Jack Kornfield as a teacher in the Vipassana (Insight) Meditation linneage, and by Francisco Kaiut as a certified Kaiut Yoga teacher. In 2017, Wendy founded Barn Yoga, the first Kaiut Yoga studio in Boulder, Colorado. Wendy has taught mediation and yoga classes, workshops and reatreats locally, nationally and internationally.
