The Orear Institute for Post Graduate Studies was established in 1987 through the generous support of Richard and Charlotte Orear.  Since 1988, the annualRecent Advances in Medicine Conference - including Evidence Based Integrative Medicinehas been held to promote the Orear Institute's mission of providing continuing medical education on recent advances in clinical medicine by the nation's premiere educators.  The Orear Institute operates under the auspices of AcruxKC, a private charitable foundation providing medical access and health education for a healthier Kansas City and beyond.
