Meet Your Speaker and Facilitator:Born and raised in the heart of Nova Scotia, I'm a true 'valley girl,' with a deep-rooted connection to the beauty of my homeland. My soul finds solace in the rhythmic sound of waves crashing, where I discover pure peace amid the gentle embrace of the water.My journey has been one of self-discovery and self-acceptance. For years, I felt like an outsider, standing at the periphery, yearning to be 'enough.' Through this process, I've learned to explore and embrace my unique gifts. It was a grade 6 teacher who recognized my innate talent for speaking and predicted it would be an integral part of my future. Although I once believed my 'gift of gab' made me too much, I now understand that it makes me uniquely me and, in fact, just enough.I've been fortunate to be mentored by a former Jr. Miss America through a 12-month Speaking Collective based in Vegas. This experience paved the way for me to speak at various events, from Women’s Retreats in San Diego to Speakers Retreats in Vegas. I've also had the privilege of emceeing events and competing with Toastmasters.Impromptu speaking is where I truly shine. It's a skill many struggle with, yet it's an area I excel in. As women, we often shy away from speaking about ourselves and our businesses, fearing we'll come across as boastful. What if you could confidently express yourself in just 30 seconds? What if you could share your business without sounding 'braggy'? The truth is, you can!My comfort on stage comes from the power of storytelling. Whether I'm your event's emcee or the host of my own gatherings, uniting the audience is my forte. My mission is clear - I'm dedicated to amplifying the voices of the incredible women around me, so they can communicate confidently for their businesses, their communities, their families, and most importantly, for themselves.Being a 'base brat' taught me to embrace change and adapt to my surroundings, making it a seamless part of my life's journey. Friends often say it's hard to keep up with me, but I promise, when you stick with me, life will never be boring!I'm proud to wear many hats – Speaker, Co-Author, Business Owner, Connector for Women, Advocate for Seniors, a Certified End of Life Doula and most recent addition is Licensed Real Estate Sales Person.
