I am Candace Corrigan, the playwright and one of the songwriters for the new musical " A Vote of Her Own", celebrating over 100 years of voting rights for American Women.In August of 2022, we filmed the premiere of our musical at the historic Bijou Theatre in Knoxville before an enthusiastic audience.We are showing the film at MTSU on March 24, 7:00 pm March 25,2:00 pm, and March 25,7:00 pm. This will be with enhanced audio and captions in room 101 at the Bragg media and entertainment building at the Middle Tennessee State University campus in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
