Sarah’s Daughters Ministries, Inc. (SDM), is a Westchester-based 501 (c) 3 charitable organization. Our primary focus is domestic violence awareness and recovery for women and girls in the Christian community. We accomplish this in three ways:• Informing Christians about the problem of domestic violence, both in and out of the church• Ministering to women and girls who are recovering from abusive relationships• Celebrating organizations that focus on helping women and their families recover and heal following this devastating traumaSarah’s Daughters Ministries hosts three annual signature events: F.L.O. (For Ladies Only) Day of Prayer in March (as part of Women’s History Month); a Domestic Violence Awareness Month event each October; and the Called to Worship Conference each July. Each year, a portion of the proceeds from the Called to Worship Conference is donated to an organization that is committed to ending domestic violence and empowering its victims.Sarah’s Daughters Ministries has become part of the NYC faith-based coalition, Not On My Watch Safe Haven Network, a group of faith leaders that are working to educate the Christian community about the twin scourges of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence. The goal of NOMW Safe Haven Network is to train hundreds of pastors and church leaders so that we can confront and end these problems in our congregations and communities. We provide workshops for women’s groups and churches as requested, and maintain contact with our regional followers via email, social media and through our company website.
