CommHIT is a 501(c)(3) headquartered at the Kennedy Space Center. CommHIT focuses on the discovery and efficiency of processes and technologies dealing with the remote care of people—particularly those in rural and remote areas. Although CommHIT works on “Earth,” CommHIT’s work deals with efforts that can be used for people in the most remote of areas—space.
