The Homelessness Society of the Bow Valley (HSBV) is a community-focused charitable organization based in Canmore, Alberta, with a mission to foster a Bow Valley community where everyone has access to safe, warm shelter and programs that support their needs. Our vision is that everyone in the Bow Valley has a safe place to sleep.We are guided by the belief that housing is a fundamental human right and are dedicated to addressing housing insecurity while supporting individuals who are unhoused or housing insecure in the Bow Valley.HSBV works toward its mission through two low-barrier programs: the Emergency Winter Shelter and an Outreach Program. In addition to our direct services, we advocate for support services and long-term, affordable housing solutions that enhance the stability and well-being of all community members.
