My name is Moni and I am the founder of The Wild Bee Company. I am an artist and beekeeper based in Surrey.I have immense love for bees, plants and the environment. Our mission at The Wild Bee Co. is to support PEOPLE, PLANET and POLLINATORS.My journey with the bees has profoundly shaped my creative process and greatly inspired my creations, allowing me to explore the magical potential of the hive as a powerful, transformative, earth-infused medium. With 15+ years as a designer working for some of the biggest brands, I continue to channel that creativity into crafting candles, tending to the bees, creating rituals and remedies inspired by nature and made with intention.The Wild Bee Co. is a female founded, owned and led company based in Surrey. We celebrate the strength and perseverance of women in the face of adversity. As a female of colour and guardian of bees, I’m passionate about supporting women beekeepers who face unique challenges. Having spent time in East Africa, I’ve seen firsthand how self-sufficient initiatives in beekeeping can be transformative for women and their communities. A portion of all our sales go directly to empowering women beekeepers in East Africa. We're giving them the tools to create their own buzz - from equipment and bee suits to training and education, helping support income generation for their families.
