Shockwave Training Canada provides education to Canadian healthcare professionals and clinics on radial shockwave therapy treatments and applications. Our Shockwave courses are designed to provide clinicians with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Shockwave Systems. Whether you are looking for a comprehensive and full-day course or a more basic 5-hour workshop, our National Trainer, Physiotherapist and clinic owner Rosen Kolev, will guide you through the history, background, and clinical application of Shockwave.‎In our full-day course, you will receive more treatment protocols, clinical direction, and hands-on time with the system. While in our 5-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of Shockwave, the language used, and the differences between various brands and types of Shockwave Systems. In both courses, you will learn about the efficacy and recommended treatment parameters for Radial and Focused Shockwave systems. You will also have the opportunity for hands-on experience with Shockwave treatments.‎Instructor Rosen Kolev, PT M.SC.Rosen is a licensed practitioner with extensive experience in orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation. He obtained a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in Bulgaria in 1994 and worked at the Regional Hospital in Dobrich until 2001. Rosen has also taught at the Physiotherapy Assistants program of the local Medical College. In 2002, he became a licensed practitioner in Canada, where he gained a deep understanding of the Canadian healthcare system while helping new graduates and international physiotherapists with their supervised practice and licensing procedure.
